I stuck with Hillary until the very end. I said many times that if Hillery was not the Democratic nominee, I would proudly vote for John McCain. In the last week, however, I had to do a lot of soul searching. I have two teenage sons and I worry about McCain reinstating the draft. I also worry about the economy and all the money spent each day on the war in Iraq and possibly a war in Iran.

So, I finally came to terms with the fact that Hillary will not be the Democratic nominee. I listened to her speech today and I now see how I must vote. I see how the nation must vote if this country is to survive. If I vote for John McCain, I could very well be sending my sons to their graves. I understand that now.

Barack Obama may be this country's last chance to fix the mess that George W. Bush created. I believe there is something to his message of hope after all. I must say, when you really listen to what he has to say, it makes a lot of sense.

So, this Hillary supporter will be voting in November for Obama. Its what I have to do as an American citizen. Its what the nation has to do.
