Ken Williamson Finally after eight years of the tyrannical rule of the Republican Party, Americans are once again a free people. While officially the Republicans still control our government in a lame duck capacity until Inauguration Day, the Democrats now have the needed power to abolish any last minute efforts by the Republicans to benefit their political or personal positions. For the first time in a very long time, the American people are once again in control of their lives, in control of their government and in control of their destiny. We have won the battle. We can bask in the glory for a day. But the American people and the Democrats have a long and difficult battle ahead. We must take this opportunity to restore our government to greatness and to right the wrongs perpetrated by the past years of Republican rule. We must succeed. This may be our last chance. We absolutely must succeed.
